Join us for a breathtaking waterfall trek in the serene hills with NatureKnights. This Friendship Day, let’s embrace the beauty of nature and the joy of companionship as we explore lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and scenic trails.

 

LOCAL GUIDE AND EVENT MANAGEMENT OVERHEADS

Adults: Rs. 350/- per person; Children (Rs.250/- per person) (Children above 13 years old can contribute same as adults)

 

MEALS

Meals: Rs.450/- per person (Veg Lunch; Morning Tea; Biscuits and Evening Tea and Bhajji); same amount for children and adults. Chicken Gravy (Per KG Cost will be shared for those who are interested).

Note: Morning breakfast at Restaurant is not included; everyone pays as per whatever they consume.

 

TRAVEL (We will travel by own vehicle / car pool).

Option 2 (Travel by AC Luxury Bus): Budget for Travel by AC Bus Rs.950/- per person. This will be possible if we have minimum 20 paid persons willing to travel by bus.

COMMERCIAL SUMMARY

BUS (RS.900/- PER PERSON) minimum persons 20 for bus booking 

or we travel by own cars (car pool). Car pool everyone takes ownership of their own transport.

Friendship Trek - Event Details:

• Date: August 11th, 2024
• Location: Near Shanshi Village, Karjat
• Meeting Points: 
• 6:15 AM - Versova Metro Station, Andheri West, Mumbai
• 6:25 AM – DN Nagar Metro Station,
• 6:35 AM - J. V. L. R. (Western Express Highway)
• 6:45 AM – Powai
• 7:00 AM – Eastern Express Highway (Vikroli, coming from Powai side)
• 7:15 AM – Ghatkopar (Junction where we take left from Eastern Express Highway towards Mankrud/ Gowandi)  

Itinerary:

1. 6:15 AM to 7:30 AM - Early Morning Departure: We’ll start our journey from Andheri West, making stops at key locations along the way to pick up fellow adventurers.
2. 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM - Scenic Drive: Enjoy a picturesque drive through the countryside, with a brief tea break near Chowk (Karjat) before ND Studio.
3. 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
1. Trek Begins: Upon reaching the base village near Shanshi, we’ll embark on our trek, navigating through dense forests and crossing sparkling streams.
2. Waterfall Delight Trek: Experience the thrill of exploring waterfalls, countryside and forest, perfect for cooling off and capturing stunning photos.
4. 01:00 PM to 3:30 PM Base Camp Simple Village Lunch: Enjoy simple village lunch prepared by our local host who is just launching a new campsite shortly. Standard menu will be vegetarian thali. We can order non-veg (Chicken prepared in a local style separately on per KG basis).
5. 3:30 PM Change, Rest and Tea: After soaking in the views, change (not shower, just dry change) and some local tea and bhaji.
6. 4:00 PM Return to Mumbai: We’ll head back to Mumbai, cherishing the memories made and the bonds strengthened.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable trekking attire (full sleeves recommended)
• Sturdy trekking shoes
• Water bottles (frozen overnight)
• Snacks (fruits, chocolates, energy bars); some personal favourite snacks.
• Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
• Personal essentials (flashlight, pocket knife)
• Set of change clothes.
