Introducing
Pauna Lake Camp
The campsites here sit's on tiny rolling mount
looking over lake, close enough to the lake so that late in the evening the
sound of surf lulls campers to sleep. A short mud path descends to the lake.
Camper have ample opportunity to go exploring in the countryside wilderness or
go for short treks and hikes in nature, hill or forts on hilltops.
Other things to do at camping: Start by exploring the countryside. Try some cooking in wilderness like your favourite blend of coffee, don’t forget to carry your favourite cookies and plum cakes or brownies. Roasting marsh mellows till they are crispy and develop that woody burnt flavour and aroma.
Carry a personal camping mat, lie on the floor
under the starry sky, enjoy campfire on a chilly winter night. Carry a
wilderness field guides on birds, insects, and other flora / fauna and go on a
scavenger hunt playing detective with magnifying glass, binoculars and old
newspaper note book / scrap book to start a new nature hobby.
Go strolling in the neighbourhood fields, if it is farming season, try your hand at farming. Checkout the local
village HAAT dates. In Lonavala, just 30 minutes’ drive from the campsite the
village weekly “HAAT” (rural weekly market cum carnival) happens every Friday.
Other best thing to do is simply stretch your legs,
don’t forget to carry your favorite cozy quilt of personal sleeping bag and nice
large pillow.
